After edging out the Novato Stingers 8-6 in the conference championships, our Broncos Peewee football team traveled to Ukiah to face the NBYFC Champion Dixon Rams in an inter-conference championship game. Down 30-14 at the end of the 1st half, the Broncos charged back behind a smothering defensive effort anchored by linebacker Grayson Noyes and end David Ayscue, holding the Rams scoreless in the 2nd half. The Broncos' balanced offensive attack keyed by quarterback Ryan Hagfeldt, running backs Sam Killpack and Joe Lang, and a dominating performance by the offensive line began to take its toll on Dixon in the second half. The Broncos tied the score late in the 4th quarter (30-30), sending the game into overtime. After an incredible 5 overtimes, the Broncos finally prevailed 44-36 over a very impressive Dixon Rams team, securing both the inter-conference championship as well as an undefeated (14-0) season.
