18Playoffs Round 2
Nov

Southern Marin's Mitey Mite, Jr. Peewee, and Peewee teams put on a defensive show and executed just short of winning their games. The Mitey Mites left everything on the field vs. Vacaville; the Jr. Peewees fought back after being down 3 touchdowns at half-time to come up just short vs. Lathrop; and the Bronco Peewees, who started the season 0-3, played tough against Novato. Each of our Bronco teams gave 100% and played to the last whistle.

Broncos teams have had and continue to have another fantastic season. To the Players - "We salute your success". To our parents - "We thank you for the time, effort, commitment and trust you made this 2009 season to Southern Marin Youth Football".

Go Broncos!

7Midget Team's Season Ends
Nov

Southern Marin congratulates our Midget team who had a spectacular season and just missed the conference playoffs by a single game. Head Coach Sonny Chayra said it best:

"This particular Midget team stands out on sheer energy and passion for playing football. Yes, we had some goofs, mistakes, and crazy and talented rookies, we took some chances, and yet, not one of these players have let me down and they all gave me what they could when asked."

The 2009 Midget team will always be remembered as a hard hitting, spirited group of young men who played football with honor, integrity, and great sportsmanship. Each player gave 100% of themselves for their team mates.

The Broncos organization wishes all the players and their families well for the rest of the year. For those players leaving the program, we hope you have great success in your school work, sports and your future in high school football.
